Airfix Eurofighter Typhoon 1/72

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

Much better than the actual 70th Anniversary scheme they chose.

Typhoon is looking good.
That's a brilliant scheme for the Tornado. Lovely idea and well executed. :)

I did a TSR.2 in a bomber scheme with 617 tail markings, it's in Aviation Modelling under 'TSR.2 colour scheme'.
(It's Jan 2014, 1st I think).
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

A second coat of English Uniform on tonight.

I may do the green bits on the wings and tail before I start on the front.

I just downloaded the grey/green camo scheme for the Javelin. I'll adapt that for the Eurofighter:

That's come out rather well with only one coat of green. :)

Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

That is looking good Andrew. Re Fred's comment, has the masking lifted the paint a bit in that area?

It's a bit of paint which came off the silly putty which I reused from the wheel wells. It's aluminium, so I think I'll leave it and call it "paint chipping" :-D

I love where you're going with this - it'll look great when DOne.

I thought it was a really nice kit actually - but I had to ditch mine as no matter how many times I tried to sort it out - it had a horrible warp in the wings.

I'll get anotehr someday, but first I'll build the Revell kit I have in the Stash!

cheers

Stuart

This is really looking very nice Andrew. Do you have a special scheme in mind for the HB two seater?
