Italeri Mig 37 Ferret B

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

Italeri Mig 37 Ferret B

Post by shangos70 »

This is Italeri's Soviet foil to their also fictitious F-19 Stealth Fighter.
Pretty straightforward construction, with one piece upper and lower fuselages/wings plus loads of red stencils and I applied most of them before I got fed up.
Just basic flat black auto primer, wheel well callouts were for blue angels blue.

It's not that far removed from the YF-23 is it? Looks good.
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

Nice build. I've got one in the stash but it's the first one I've seen put together. 8-)

Love it. I have the 48 version.

Cheers all, certainly something a little different. My F-19 is almost ready to go alongside it.

Snap. The Ferret is an interesting cross between the F-117 and the YF-23, and your build looks good. I'll have to dig mine out and have a go; it's a nice simple kit that would be a good way to back into the swing of things.

Which version -- the Testors or the Monogram? Either way, I look forward to seeing it.
