RF-1 Warplane 1/35 Resin Kit

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

RF-1 Warplane 1/35 Resin Kit

Post by iggie »

My most recent build, which was an eBay purchase following on from a couple of other Sci-fi type resin kits I acquired.
These kits have some great detail, and despite needing something like CA adhesive for every joint, go together really well with a little fettling and respond well to paint and washes.
I decided to use up some left over Airfix Harrier decals, so this has been finished as a Royal Navy bird from whenever in the future :-D

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Looking at all the grime and wear on that ship, the pilot needs a better windscreen - gonna make WW1 pilots look perfectly clean in comparison :)

It is a nifty little kit and you've done very well on it !

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.
