Bandai Star Wars AT-ST Vehicle Model Kit 008

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

Bandai Star Wars AT-ST Vehicle Model Kit 008

Post by iggie »

As a little diversion during my build of the Academy 1/32 Camel F.1 in the 'Everyone's got the Hump' GB, I decided to break this out:

I'm not sure what scale it is (I'm guessing 1/144 or smaller) but it went together in about 30 minutes and the fit and detail is sublime!
It has had a coat of Tamiya Light Grey, plus a thin gloss varnish, and then grey and grime Flory washes overall to lift the detail. It needs some details picking out in a couple of other colours for interest and then a matt varnish to seal everything in

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing
