Sputnik 1 - 60th Anniversary bit of fun

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

A minimum of material, a maximum of fun!
Waiting for the day, when wars for territory will be something to be read about in history books only.

I've taken off the wonky stretched sprue aerials and replaced them with Accurate Armour carbon fibre aerial wire (normally used on AFV models). I think it makes a big difference -

It was a great tip I got regarding the aerials. I don't normally build 1/35 armour so wasn't aware that you could obtain off the shelf aerial material.

That's made all the difference, Eric. I wasn't aware of the availability off the shelf antenna material for military vehicles either but in any case I'm far too tight to pay for anything like that :ha:

It certainly bumped up the price of the model - from .99p for the pack of ping pong balls to £13.00 :)
