Another little gem from Bandai, in their 'palm-size' range of Star Wars subjects. This took all of three hours to do
To my eye the M6 does not have the same 'je ne sais pas' as the original AT-AT but has more fire power apparently

It's amazing how much detail they've crammed into such a small model.

It doesn't have the same 'presence' as the AT-AT, I know it has a lot due to it's size but the original just seemed more frightening because it had less going on. If any of that makes sense please let me know!!!. The M6 looks like the Heavy Metal version of the original!!.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

As opposed to the original AT-AT being a mechanical elephant -- which, at the very least, its legs and gait were based on. Animal resemblances aside, the gorilla looks more like a tank to me (functionally), whereas the AT-AT was more of an APC -- heavily armed, to be sure, but made to carry troops into battle. Do we know if the gorilla carried troops, or was it all about the multiple turrets on its back?MarkyM607 wrote:That's it, gorilla at-at!!. With that gun the power supply might need to be pretty big. Not sure if troops would be carried. In the film there were normal AT-AT's so perhaps they carried the troops to attack the base?.Tarkas wrote:As opposed to the original AT-AT being a mechanical elephant -- which, at the very least, its legs and gait were based on.
