MiG 15....Airfix....1/72...with a twist

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

MiG 15....Airfix....1/72...with a twist

Post by Beowulf Shaeffer »

one i did a little while ago but forgot about....new tool airfix MiG15

elsewhere i have a long running project........a 'what if WW2 had gone differently..........'...got a 50 year alternate history, maps made, etc......usual thing..........its basically just a storyline that allows me to make model aircraft in non-real schemes and markings

this is from that and has a RAF MiG15.....supplied by the USSR to the Commonwealth in the early 50's in their conflict with the Axis Alliance to counter the increased number of jets fielded by German and Italian forces

Nice...it looks a little odd at first but certainly not 'wrong'...nice implied back story too...would look good escorting a Sperrin on ops..
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

That looks very, very good and even plausible (vaguely). Would love that link as I always enjoy a good alternate history.
