Nax Airfix Airforce

Post by Nax »

G'day fella's as of May this year it has been three years since I started back modeling after a 30 year break. My wife brought me a kit to help me give up smoking and it reignited a passion I'd displaced for years, and didn't help with my smoking.
I was fascinated with the builds of Mike Grant in SAMI and ingested all of the sidebars he had written about building better models along with tips from other builders and the forum.
Airfix was the dominate player on the market in Australia when I was growing up and I'm sure I suffer from "brand placement" from this period and although there are a lot of new players with fantastic kits, I have a desire to keep building Airfix kits and try and build them as good as a new tool offering and detailing with everyday bits and bobs that you find around the house.
Following are the all my Airfix builds from the last three years from the hairy stick to the airbrush.

All 1/72, Please enjoy.

Great collection, Steve, and interesting to see the progression from your earlier attempts to the latest.
