You asked for them

Post by darkhorse »

Gents

You have asked for photos from my model collection, whilst not in anyway in the same class as what I call the master modellers :-D I beg you to remember that I have MS and shake really bad.
But for all of that I still persist with making models, though I won't build modern stuff as their paint schemes are beyond me, would like a BAC Ligtning though and a Valiant, perhaps someone can build them if I got the kits
anyway here are some pics for you!

Talk about modesty: Your biplanes far outweigh mine!

I like the Calvary and the Halo the best.

Thanks mate, but paint hides a million blunders :god . the Halo was a great build, the undercarriage was very weak though. I am finding that the Russian kits are starting to get really good! Finished that awful D VIII as you can see from the pics. I had to completely rebuild the undercarriage on it!

Starting on the 1/28 Sopwith now, very clunky but not too bad so far. I was bein fair dinkum, if someone would like to build me the Lightning and the Valiant, I will get the kits and send them through!

Cheers Troy

PS These are my Military models

You're being too modest they all look good, but I like those tanks on transporters.

They were the biggest and most complicated kits I have ever built, they are the German Faun with a tamiya Leopard 2 A6, the other is a MAz with a T55. I will take some closer pics if you like :) . They suffered alot when I toke them to a show, they don't like being moved l\ :-D

There's some really nice work there. And that Halo is HUGE! It's not until you get another model next to it you can appreciate its actual size.

Speaking of russian helicopter models, try to get a Ka-50 kit one day. There is something to like about a single seat, large caliber machine gun by the side, and a rocket barrage covered soviet attack chopper.

Here is a link to wikipediahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamov_Ka-52. I think tiger models had the Zvesda kit in stock.

Yes please. But hold the lolz. I think a 1/48 KA-50 will be fine on it's own. :-D
