Some truly inspiring builds Mike. One better then the next and its hard to decide which I like best but there is a place in my heart for Flying Forts and dazzle paint schemes.

Great, Mike.

Hard to believe the Helldiver, Buffalo, Kingfisher, etc are the old Airfix kits.

Utterly brilliant, and inspirational, as previously discussed. The X-1A is may favorite individual model, but the "op-art dazzle" Buffalo inspired my razzle-dazzle Camel, and I _really_ don't understand why we don't see more of the "motion blur" diorama bases that the QF-104 "invented". It's SUCH a good, dynamic idea... the best I've managed is my "Top Gear" Aventador, but to my mind that's a game-changer for diorama display bases...

bestest,
M.

Hey, thanks for the kind replies guys. Matt, I've seen a couple of 'emulations' of my speedy-base online, so it's nice to know it struck a chord with some modellers.

These really are fantastic. I've just compared your airfix Helldiver and Kingfisher to the ones I put together and I can't believe they're the same kits - I'm now giving up modelling forever.
