Seal it first with clear acrylics like Future, making sure to do several coates and that it dries at least 24 hours.

Tamiya paints hate all other forms of model stuff and usually react quite badly to them.

Thanks for that......I will give it a go! :-D

Good recovery on the windows, even with you tell me i still can't see the difference!

As for whether to build the typhoon or not, i notice that you have a Tornado that was built by the British, Germans and Italians and a Jaguar which was a join venture by the French and British so that means you have to build the Typhoon! :ha:

Hmmmmmmm what about the early 1/48 Airfix Lightning, the one with the sharks mouth decals. Is it a good kit to build?

Two lovely kits! Is the Victor the air refueling kit? I've been hunting high and low for the bomber version with no success

Iam thinking along a couple of lines. I will be getting a 1/32 Tornado and speaking to a mate of mine at the exhibition on the weekend, who does N scale trains and is a whizz at electronics, suggests that we get the navigation, collision lights going, have the canopy move up and down, animate the wings and have the engines spool and light up.
May need some help getting the sound effects.....will do the pit crew as well in 1/32 (does anyone know where I can get RAF modern pit crew from?? :???: :???: )
OK the other project ......... a pair a of 1/72 Phantoms intercepting a Bear 1/144 :???: the 1/72 Bear is huge and I had problems painting it. So was thinking that 1/144 would be good as a distance thing. Any thoughts fellas????
Will now start thinking about RN fleet air arm
1/72 Hercules?

Cheers
Troy the mad one.... :ha:
