I completely forgot to post this -- it's my review of that kit, FWIW.

Re-reading it, I had a problem getting the cockpit into the fuselage because there was no positive locator of it so it became a fight to get the nose gear well on one end and the seat back on the diagonally opposite end to sit and stay in place. Once done, the fuselage closed up OK.

Nice job so far, that cockpit interior looks really nice. Good luck with the sanding!

Finished the building... then gave a coat of grey primer Alclad, on this gave Alclad's alluminium.
The slot after cockpit is because the great double hatches on engine bay
