Turning to the nose of our prototype we already filled in the gun ports but now its time to ready it for the 750HP Jumo 210A piston driven motor and a 2 blade wooden prop.
Using some Evergreen plastic I created a bulkhead for the prop
Next its time to find a 2 bladed wooden prop.

Thanks Brews, I have what I need. I'll post the results soon I hope. It's been a busy week and weekend for me.Brews wrote:If you're desperate for a prop, you can find one on a Heller Bf 109C, but tbh, you can probably get away with making one out of card.

Here is some of my reference material
Here is a photo of the V3 without the piston driven motor for reference
Wings assembled
Dry fit the wings and engines. Someone said this wasn't a jet but it sure looks like one to me.
Next its time to add a cover for the soon to be added prop. I used Multiput to achieve this. Once the nose is cured I will do the final sculpting of it.

Great work Dirk, that Milliput is great stuff isn't it? Are you going to use it for the leading edges near the fuselage as well?
Cheers
