Maverick will not give up!

Post by IronMan129 »

Hey all.
After a very long but careful consideration I've come to the conclusion that it's best for the SIG's welfare that I step down as leader.
Alot of unsightly situations have come upon me and I can't keep up the pace anymore.
All shows planned for this year have been booked but as I no longer live at my old address and don't currently have a permanent address I won't receive confirmation of Telford.

So who's up for becoming the new leader?

I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me out since November as you have all been an amazing help and I couldn't have done it without you!

Really sorry to hear that Mav, you've put a lot into leading the SIG and I sincerely hope your life takes a turn for the better.

Very sorry to hear about your hassles mate. Hope everything works itself out for you asap.

I'd really like to help out with the SIG but work commitments and a probable change of career make committing to running anything impossible at the moment.

Sorry to hear about the ongoing problems Adam. Can't help out SIG wise I'm afraid as I've got my own Revell SIG as you know and also a heavy commitment to the CBK display this year. Hope someone can find their way to helping out though.
Cheers
Al.

Yes, due to Adam having to unfortunately bow out, a decision I'm sure he didn't take lightly, the SIG needs a new leader or ultimately faces being made extinct by the IPMS. Come on someone, you know you want to

Been there, done that.

Sorry to hear about your current situation Adam, real life can interfere with our hobby at the most inconvenient time as I know only too well.

Adam will hold the current members list as do I for the CBK SIG.

Thanks for all your help and support everyone!

Unfortunately I'm unable to attention the Coventry show now as I've just been discharged from hospital this morning and I'm in too much pain to drive.

Hey all!
I don't know we're to start but when I created this thread I was at a real low point in my life.
I had broken up with my ex fiance and although I made the choice to leave I still lost everything I had worked hard for.

I don't know how many people know but on Monday the 22nd of June I was readmitted into hospital for a majir problem and I'm still here a week later......
Whilst I've been here I've had alot of time to think and I've come to the conclusion that I don't want to step down as the leader of the Cold War SIG.
I really do love being the leader of the SIG and I just can't give it up.

From now on I will run so fast and so hard that the SIG will be taken to the next level.

I'm still going to need help from everyone if this is ok and I will help anyone that needs my help too.

Once again thank you so much for all your help.
