TF-102

Post by MarkyM607 »

Just to add to my Cold War items, I found a TF-102 conversion set on Hannants for £7-99, might be some left if it's of interest to anyone?. Now have to build that and a single seat 102, luckily I have two sitting around waiting for their turn on the bench.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

I always thought that side-by-side seating arrangement, that looks good on the Lightning and Hunter, looks just pretty awful on the TF-102 but it will make a neat contrast to the single-seater.

I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I like to think of the TF102 as "individual" ;-)

They dropped the idea with the two seat F-106 and did a tandem seating arrangement. Looks neater and a lot less drag created!.
