I've got the 1/72nd Monogram kit. I saw test shots for the 1/48th B-36 at SMW. it was on the HpH stand. To be honest I think you'd need a van to transport it!

I don't need to. I held the fuselage in my hands. Apparently it has a wingspan a couple of inches under 5 feet and stands nearly a foot tall to the top of the fin.

And, no, I am not buying and building one.!!!

And anyway, it wouldn't fit on most show display tables. ;-)

It's a huge kit that I have actually built 3 times, once as a kid, the second time as an adult and it fell from the ceiling and (hopefully) one last time to replace the broken one.

Pretty easy build too given the size.

I had one part built but it got badly damaged when we moved into our house. I threw it out but really I should have kept it and repaired it.

If you do your B-36 (and a 14:0 vote now doesn't really leave you much choice does it :ha: ), I'll carry on with my Trumpeter 1/72 Tu95. Then perhaps at one show next year, only for a few minutes, we could just have both on display on their own and tell people viewing that we are trying to win an award for the most minimalist display?!

Look forward to seeing the behemoth if you build it. I have a cunning plan for mine re- transport ability. It concerns magnets and not gluing the wings on.

All the best.
