Separating the shows from the chat is a good idea. It might be better to keep the shows section purely for show reports and photos rather than let themes along the lines of "who's going? and/or what are we going to do?" creep into there. IMHO, arrangements for attendances at shows and theme ideas connected therewith would be better kept in this chat thread. Just my two pennorth, like

Just to let Daz and everyone within the SIG know myself and Sally are now IPMS members.
So there won't be any problems getting into Telford on Friday to set up now.

How could I overlook this SIG until now? I build Russian jets from the cold war quite often, So I´d like to join in here.
Waiting for the day, when wars for territory will be something to be read about in history books only.

Hi Daz,
Thank you for the warm welcome, and, sorry for taking so long to answer.
A big part of the work of this SIG is to participate in model exhibitions, right?
I haven´t been to the UK in a while, but exhibitions would be a good excuse to come to the British isles again!
I´m sure I´ll not come around to the UK for the next 12 plus months - but, hey, of course you can PM me!
There are so many fascinating liveries the Mig-21 can be built in :-) !

Anyone interested in the old boxarts of VEB Plasticard kits here? I could present some images of old boxings here

That would be great. Perhaps you could start a thread in the Cold war Chat or Reference section. :)
