My wife, Annette, is a hand quilter and this has been her big project for almost 3 years; it isn't exactly complete (borders), but hopefully will be by the end of the year when we then have to figure out where to hang it.
Amazing what she has learned about these ships in the process; she started with patterns for the ships but corrected the placement of sails, rigging, etc.
