Re: A tribute to XX411
Thank you. Giot on the bench last night and mounted the weapons racks. Getting back in the saddle again.

That sounds a bit kinky to mejssel wrote:Got on the bench last night and mounted the weapons racks. Getting back in the saddle again.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

It's a helicopter thing. Others wouldn't understand.

How are things coming along Jeff? UNfortunately, bromo is a little under the weather at the moment but we're both inclined towards an extension of a few days at least

Should have some fresh pictures up tonight. Progress is being made. masking glass before attaching (now that is different for me). It will be finished, hopefully in a few days time. I sure do appreciate the extension.
That little deployment kicked my behind but it sure is great to be on the bench again.
Cheers to all.

So we have glass mounted but the fit is not to great. When everything sets up I will work out the seam issues. You can see the SNEB pods getting some treatment. Getting some decals sorted out also.

That's coming together really well. The Gazelle is a great looking helicopter.

Work last night was the antenna system for the nose. This includes the Mk1 eyeball sighting rod which is not part of the antenna as I originally thought.
