ICM 1/35 BM-13-16

Post by Titan »

A bit more care was needed with this kit, well the launcher part of it at least as there was some very fine and delicate parts to try and not knock off it when constructed...but I can tell you that any knocked of bits actually glued back on ok...lol
The only slight set back was the warped launcher rails themselves and although I had them in hot water and clamped I still could not manage to get them completely straight.

Brilliant; the mud, the grime and the overall realism are just spot on!
Best wishes

Well done, especially the rails !

I wasn't aware that kit existed. The base truck would appear to be the Studebaker US6. The launcher details appear to e quite good, might be worth getting outside my usual interests.

By 'eck Mark, there's no stopping you of late! Another really great military vehicle build, very nicely painted and weathered, a beauty by any standards!

It is indeed the US6 John though I preferred the Zvezda BM13, it just looked a bit more menacing.
This kit is ok though as I mentioned at the beginning the rails need a bit of work and I have since read elsewhere that it has happen to others building this kit, stick with it though because I think the end result is worth the effort if you decide to build this.
