Dragon 1/72 Challenger with plow blade

Post by jssel »

Here is the 1/72 Challenger with plow blade by Dragon. Nice kit with great detail. Instruction sheet was the new picture style which I found hard to follow. The plow blade attachment points were hard to locate. But it is done. Tamiya Buff was used for the external color with a dark brown wash.

I like it, very menacing looking.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Fantastic! You could certainly take that to be 1/35
Best wishes

Been modelling for years, still learning . . . .
Model kits are meant to be assembled . . . . . . . . . . eventually.

Very nicely done, Jeff. The Challenger II is acknowledged to be one of the finest tanks ever built, arguably better than the M-1 Abrams, but the British Army was never given the budget to have enough of them to make a real difference.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

No doubt. The Abrams is getting long in the tooth.

Very sharp looking tank you have there. That turret is so shallow and streamlined. Very tight clearance around the full turret. Makes it look very sleek. Might have to look into this one too. Great work Jeff.
