Stryker 1/72 Academy

Post by gengriz »

This is another "fast hotel room build" from the last few months, reflecting the fact that life at work is rather busy and aircraft modelling has taken a bit of a back seat!

Both Academy & Trumpeter have produced rather nice 1/72 Styker kits in recent times; not sure what the dfference is, but I enjoyed building this one.

The GD Stryker is based on the Swiss Mowag Pirahna vehicles, which nearly became the UK's FRES/MRAV vehicles before the programme was cancelled.
