Leopard 2 MBT....Revell......1/72

Post by Beowulf Shaeffer »

built for a GB somewhere, where the only rule was only hairy stick type brushes allowed......no airbrush!..........might seem normal to a lot of you guys but when i took up this hobby again 5 years ago i very quickly got turned onto air brushes (and rattle cans).....i tend to use paint brushes only for detail work and weathering, so this was quite a challenge to me :-D :-D :-D

kit went together nicely enough, tracks were fiddly but still miles ahead of rubber band style ones

even tho it had had some matt varnish top coat it still looked too shiny and new so it got a MiG mud wash which seemed to dull it off ok

WOW, that is cool. Its like night and day between the fresh painted and then weathered.

Like your Leopard. What did you use for the antenna's? Normaly I take a hair from a laquer brush but yours look very convincing.
