1/35 Tamiya SU-100 1st Armoured Brigade - Gdynia 1945.

Post by Marek »

This is old Tamiya's SU. Quite enjoyable if not completely accurate. Some WIP description is in workshop area. I have tried to replicate a vehicle taking part in dislodging of German forces from Gdynia - Gdansk area during March - April 1945. I went for heavily mudded and weathered SU committing a sin of 'over weathering' on a way. But I am learning :). I will update with figures as I am right now in a process of getting 2 figures ready for it (also Tamiya's). Attention, picture heavy below:

Great job of it. It looks dangerous.
I'm sure you'd find the general consensus that lots of pictures are good.

Nice work, Marek, and it doesn't look overdone at all.

I agree, the weathering doesn't appear overdone and it fits your description well; nice job!
Best wishes

I like that a lot Marek and it doesn't look overdone to me. I'm a big fan of the old Tamiya 1/35th range, they can be picked up reasonably cheaply and can be built up into great looking models.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
