revell/Matchbox 1/76 T-34

Post by splash »

This was my entry to the Matchbox GB, the only extra detail I have added is plastic card turret armour, brass wire grab rails and static grass to the kit supplied base.

Cracking result from this old kit Splash. Hard to believe it's only 1/76th scale.

The stand really sets it off.

Bravo. Two thumbs up.

"Old favorite"? Where? Is it hiding behind the MB T-34?

:ha:

But where's the spurious turret machine gun? It's not a true Matchbox T34 without the spurious turret machine gun!

I was so tempted to add the big machine gun :-D it makes you wonder where Matchbox got their research from, did they find an image with one fitted ? No one else can seem to find evidence that one was fitted.

I keep looking at this build and thinking how good it is. OK so the kit might not be the best one of the vehicle ever made but so what? IMHO done like this it looks enough like a T-34 to satisfy most viewers. Top work.
