That looks great Ian; I never would have noticed the tracks being not as good as Airfix if you had not mentioned!

I watch Humphrey Bogart in Sahara use a US Lee tank M3 and nine British solders fight off a battalion of thirsty German!

Silver screen showed last night. Classic movie.

His tanks name was Lulubelle, to bad the movie was in black in white.

Nice looking tank, good job!

Cheers mate. Just goes to show there are some excellent old kits still knocking about.

Thanks Larry. The Airfix track has the pads in the right place but the downside of the Airfix track is that there are two pieces of track for each side which means you have two joins to hide, to me its a bit weird and as I have never seen it done this way on anything else.

Thanks Micheal. The black and white version is still the best one for me. Its an excellent film that I have seen loads of times. I also forgot to add the link to the final reveal photo thread if you haven't seen them. http://www.uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... 88#p338388

Thanks again chaps.
Cheers
Ian

I meant only it would have been nice to see the tank in colour in the movie (filmed in black in white).

Ian, you really brought this tank to life!!
