Carrier Crash Crane

Here's something completly different for me.
Building something else than a plane and posting in the tanks section.
To go with my U.S.Navy aircraft the carrier crash crane.
Blackdog's 1/72 scale crane is a resin kit with a lot of parts,a lot of parts really.
The detailing is fantastic and tiny.
The manual was an entire different story, so much things that are not in the drawings.
The resin was a little warped and I couldn't remedy this but overall I am very satisfied with it.
It's not competed yet but 99%.

No wonder aircraft carriers are so big - that thing appears to be huge.
Interesting model also.

Now that is something very different, Navy One and is not something I've seen before. It's a substantial looking piece of kit but there are some surprisingly large aircraft on carriers. Great build.

Stunning work on a really unusual subject all you need is the aircraft tractor to go with it.

It's time I took another look at the blackdog website.
