Trumpeter 1/72 Type 90 Tank

Post by jssel »

Here is the Trumpeter type 90 tank in 1/72. I am quite fond of the Trumpeter small scale armor kits. Great detail, good vinyl tracks and a loaded decal sheet.

I elected to do a winter scheme because I thought it different than the basic two-tone camouflage. The dots where applied using different diameter dowels from cocktail sticks to a piece of sprue. Four different diameters were used.

I would not have said that was 1/72 without your admission; that looks a really good build and paint job and could easily be taken for a larger scale 8-) Top work!
Best wishes

Wow that’s brilliant, I’m impressed with the quality of your white dots, I will store that tip for the future.

I really like it and the added detail of the camo fabric on the muzzle.

Dang, Jeff!! That's fantastic painting. The fabric and stuff on the barrel looks great too. I love it.

What a great piece of small scale armour building, Jeff and I could have easily taken it for 1/35th. That is a very unusual looking winter cam scheme which I've never seen before and you've pulled it off with great skill.

Thats an absolute cracker! As mentioned above, it could easily pass for 1/35.
