ACE 1/72 Centurion Mk.3 in 1/72
Here is the Centurion Mk.3 that was recently released by ACE in 1/72. The kit is a typical ACE kit but an interesting subject. Aside from drilling out the gun barrel, I built the kit straight from the box. The directions say to paint the vehicle Deep Bronze Green. However, one of the researchers at the Imperial War Museum stated that DBG was not used until around 1955. Prior to that time, Olive Drab SCC15 would be the correct color. As the Centurion is in it's Korean War scheme, I painted it with SCC15 from Soverign Colourcoats.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Lovely job, built the Mk.5 version and it's a beautiful kit, probably the best Ace to date

That is a really nice Centurion, Chuck and it is set off very well by your model railway scenery. IMHO drilling out the barrel of the main gun is an essential piece of work on small scale tank models.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Very nice, indeed.
I'm wondering if you masked all those road wheels? They look really good.
