Very nice trio of early British tanks there, General. I've built AFV's on and off since I started modelling in the early 70's and I've yet to build a rhomboid....

Nice work, how do these kits compare with the very old Airfix Kit?

The Airfix kits aren't really that bad, I found them to compare favourably with the Masterbox mk2 offering. The main problem with the Airfix mk1's is their inaccuracies. They have a reputation for being closer to mk2 than mk1. However checking contemporary photos, I place them as closer to mk3. So conversion should be really simple.

I often thought about using two of the Airfix kits to make a stretched troop carrier.

What plans do you have for conversation?

The stretched troop carrying version was mk5*, very different from the Airfix version. Emhars mk4 is much better place to start. I will be looking into the possibility of conversion in the near future.

Well tidy trio of Landships.

Splendid work. I’ve several Masterbox Mk Ii’s to build. It is a lttle saddening that even MB failed to get everything right when the information is more available now than it has ever been, still, there we are; at least they have produced them. I’ve done some work on the Airfix WW1 tank, to create a Mk1, the info is available on Airfix Tribute Forum and Landships II forum.

Agree totally about all the information that is out there these days. However, a problem that you have is that if you go from one site to another, you can often find one site will contradict everything said on the previous site. Much of this isn't a problem as it is mainly about history. As an example, the Renault ft17, I am building one, (now stalled for the next month), and wanted one in British markings. The first site, said they where fully integrated into the British army, the second said they only used 50, the third said we only used them for V.I.P. transport, forth said said only for training. And so on. You will find the same problem in books, but with the web you can go from site to site and so notice it more.
