Plastic Soldier 1/72 Sherman Firefly VC Tank Destroyer

Post by kprophater »

a simple build of a PSC 1/72 Sherman VC. It was hand painted, given a dark wash, dry brushed a couple of colors, and given rust wash. Decals are Bison, for the Polish 1st Armored Division. Everything sealed with Tamiya flat clear acrylic spray can.
Some day I hope to make some base or back drop, or diorama, that’s on my bucket list!

Welcome to the forum. Although I can mentally picture the Sherman Firefly VC you don't appear to have posted any pics of your build, which would be great to see!

I am using an iphone8, have read the forum rules on posting pictures, but don’t get a “post an image” message anywhere. Also, can’t locate a point to switch from mobile device settings to “desktop”, ??? I’m on another forum which this same easy to use image tool, assumed it would be the same,????

I use the iPhone 6. The Google Chrome browser on this site shows the Add Image to Post button. When you open the site look for the Full Screen option button to change your view.

Not sure if I am making sense.

I'm no IT expert but as far as I am aware Jeff is correct and you require Google Chrome for the Postimage function to work on this site. I was originally using Mozilla Firefox and only saw the Postimage button when I changed browser to Chrome - I'm using my old Dell laptop, however, as I prefer the larger screen to my smartphone for use on here.

Thank you for the kind words from everyone. I have been a model railroader, and the weathering techniques and the scenery building all cross over well. I’ve bought some finished models from Black Knight Studios, S-Models, Dragon, Hobby Master, Altaya, and Easy Model, and try to learn from what I see in those and also online posts from places like this.
