Great work, Ratch. How did you get the sand effect, which makes it look like it just came off the beach, and did you have to drill holes for the antennae, which I don't think come with the kit?

The weathering was done with Mig Pigments and the aerials are just glued on (no drilling involved) :ha:

Very nice piece of modelling but I'd like to know why you painted it that colour ? Were they not painted olove green ?

I used Vallejo Model Air 71043 Olive Drab - I'd call it olive ;-)

It looks a bit too chocolate to me for a British tank, perhaps that is just my monitor. Vallejo's Russian Uniform 70924 is the generally accepted paint for 1944 British OD.

Nice build, the weathering is very impressive. I've been looking through the different tank kits and I keep getting drawn back to this one, think I might have to order one! :)
