1/76 Daimler Ferret
I have wanted to build a Ferret for years, since I have very clear childhood memories of them driving around Edinburgh in the 1970s (mainly preparing to go to N Ireland).
This is the very enjoyable B.W. white metal kit of the 2/6 variant, available directly from B.W. http://www.bwmodels.co.uk/index.asp. It's not particularly cheap considering its tiny size, but neither is it wildly expensive in AFV terms (£12), and it really is a very nice little model. I have left the hatches on this one closed, but they are double sided (i.e they have inside surface detail) so that they can be left open and the kit does provide a rudmentary interior that could be the basis of some nice superdetailing.
White metal and CA glue are not my favouite mediums, and I had some difficulty getting the wheels to stay on and all touch the ground at the same time, but I was impressed by the quality of detail on this kit. I have heard of people soldering these, but my soldering skills are not that great and although I left it as a potential last resort, the CA finally held
The man-portable Vickers Vigilant anti tank missiles were NATO's equivalent of the AT-6 Sagger ATGW, used by the British Army & USMC. By all accounts they were a much better missile too, although apparently none were ever used in combat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vickers_Vigilant.
I feel another one of these coming on soon!

I'm an aircraft modeller, honest, but see all my AFVs on the Dark Side pages http://www.gengriz.co.uk/dark.htm of my website.

Awww, it's so cute! We had a runner at the museum - they're tiny!

Just splendid! My FIAT did not have ATGMs and MGs and still was tiny! Would go for the Ferret any day
