Sounds like most of the models I 've ever built ;-)

Seriously Bernard, very nice build. What was it like to build? I've had my eye on this set for quite a while now.

Very neat and clean build!

Maybe experiment with some light weathering, to alleviate certain a tendency toward blandness?

And why not load the trailer with a Bf 109 E fuselage, less wings and canopy and with a bent prop and some bullet holes?

Good job!

Best,

Joachim

If you do choose to load it up Bernard, you could let your imagination run wild. These lorries carried everything. I remember seeing a historic picture from the airbase where I worked and it showed a convoy of Queen Marys carrying Stirling bombers in pieces.

Nice Bernard. I never did the crane (still in the box) but I enjoyed building the Queen Mary a few years back. I used a spare Hurricane as load.

How is the fit of the crane?

If I remeber well someone on this forum (Ianlanc?) did a very large diorama with a Lancaster in parts. For this diorama several Recovery sets were used.

Thank you Henk

The crane is constructed easily.
It seems to me that the crane is not the same scale as the "Queen Mary".

Great job with Hurricane.
