I'm in with one of the Aluminium/Dayglo machines - not sure of the exact identity as yet.

I am in -- I have the kit and the S&M Silk #72-001 decal sheet for the kit which gives me 7 additional options. The neat part about this sheet is the quantity of serials, letter and number, that could enable doing many different aircraft. I have not picked my specific aircraft yet.

I will try for one, though I have two kits, and hopefully two more coming to the hobby shop for me (if he can get them), as well as the S&M decal sheet, which is very nice! I will do one of the trainers and probably one of the Yellow Jacket aircraft to start.

I've already got a Matchbox Red Arrow, so I'll probably go Yellowjack Flight Leader for this one.

I think I'll go straight Out Of Box.

As this is a new tool, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the kit as you go.

That's my plan too. I have the S&M Silk 72-002 decal sheet with two Yellowjack options. If I can acquire another Gnat before the GB starts I may go for a doubler, seeing what others I can glean from the decals. There's quite an unusual "private owner" Gnat in overall blue included which could make something a litttle unique.

Always up for a silver and dayglo build and so mine will be OOB.

I thought from this, there was another S&M sheet out, but on a 2nd look, the instruction sheet is labeled 72-001 while the decal sheet is labeled 72-002 ...

I think I have narrowed my choice to one of the CFS/4FTS red aircraft with white trim, a variation on the one offered on the S&M sheet, but which can be done from the sheet because of the inclusion of adequate generic serials ....

It seems to be a popular a/m decal sheet around here.

I wonder why?

Dont shout at me I know it's the wrong kit but the Works have the old Gnat starter set for £5.99.

Now my cunning plan is ditch the kit and use the decal this will give me three option silver and orange or a Red Arrow in red or a third option XR991 as is now flying in the Yellowjack colours.

So I'm not as mad as you first thought.

Well, SWMBO picked up my Gnat at the LMS for my birthday yesterday so I am in. Could be a solo Blitzbau.

Mulling it over.
