... and for the rest of the week I've been having a visit from Mr Churchill's black dog and haven't really been able to get anything done.

He exists, so give him a biscuit and let him settle at your feet...on your feet, big, heavy, smelly chap that he is.

Then do some modelling and give him an occasional stroke. he may even wag his tail.
