Thanks guys, treating the move out as a holiday, with a de clutter, so it's all good.

Hornisse:
Finished up tonight..
Image
Quick pic, I'll take some better ones tomorrow if it survives that Blenheim attack..

Mosktiko:
Masked the canopy..
Image
and cut some small sections of stretched tube as barrels, and during that lost about three to the ping monster...

Cheers

Thanks Bruce, a bit of primer on the Moskito this morning, a bit of rough sanding to tidy up, then we'll be painting very soon.

Cheers

Moskito:

Sorted out the rough sanding marks, left over from the delicate thinning down of the wing trailing edges..
Image
Saw a profile that showed oblique guns in the rear fuselage, which took my fancy, so cemented in some stretched tube as barrels.

Dust down tmorrow, more primer, and then paint

Awesome work on the Hornisse, and the Mozzie seems to be following on in a similar fashion.

That’s a fantastic finish on such an old kit, well done.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Excellent finish on the Hornisse. No Swastika?

Thanks guys,

James yes those spinners are an interesting shape, like the canopy.

ShaunW, no Swastika, I used to feel if it was WWII Luftwaffe, it had to have them, but in the last few months or so, I feel I don't want to have them on.

Stunning build on the Hornisse. If i could get that kind of result from a Lindberg kit I'd do them more often. You've got some mad skills. I have to admit I'm a bit envious. Can't wait to see whats next.

All that effort paid off Jim  she's a beauty, looking forward to seeing what scheme the Moskito is going to get.

Thanks guys, at the moment the Moskito is still "Tamiya Fine Surface Primer grey" scheme

another round of fill n' sand last night, and a bit of wonky scribing of the flaps and ailerons. They were engraved on the upper surface of the wing, but raised lines on the under side, which got obliterated in the trailing edge thinning..
