Not much work on this bug due to an active weekend. Last night I added the exhausts, painted the wheels and stuck the drop tanks together.

Whilst looking at the exhausts I thought something is missing and then it dawned on me there is no deck hook, I have checked the box and the instructions and there is no sign of one coming with the kit.

Is it just me or have HobbyBoss made a boob?

Has anyone else built this kit and found the same problem?

Tonight I should get some bench time and add the missing decals and start to weather this bug.

I use Payne's Gray oil paint thinned as a wash, I leave it for 30 minutes then wipe of with a Cotton bud.

Nice, looks a lot better than some I've seen using black or very dark grey, which can look too stark for my liking on lighter coloured aircraft.

That is a very impressive result :wanw

I really like the subtle panel work and the bright contrast with the decal choice. I'm not usually enamored with modern grey jets but that has some real character.
