Chip's Little Bug***Squished***

The "Insect" GB, where any kit -- ground, air, sea -- is allowed as long as it carries an insect name.
Runs June 15th to July 31st.
GB Leaders are Jagewa and SJPONeill.

I gave it a black wash to bring out the edges, followed by basic weathering using pastel chalks (first time). The fuel stains were produced by blending gloss varnish, water and a dot of black paint. I am quite pleased with the way it came out.

Once I got used to working in this scale, this turned out to be a really enjoyable build.

Thanks for following the build and offering advice (and bad jokes - Andrew) as always.

Now that does look good Chip. I'll have to try that recipe for the petrol staining. I need to get some more chalk pastels too!
