Lovely. If it wasn't for the paint pot giving a size comparison, if you showed me that photo for the first time with no other info I'd believe that hull was from a 1/35th kit and a good one at that.

I didn't say which weekend. :ha:

I have now given the little bug a coat of Tamiya XF-58 olive green. First time I have tried it in the airbrush and I must say I am quite impresed. I may have to switch from my beloved Revell Aqua colors.

The tools have been painted and added to the upper hull, and the tracks have been fitted to the lower hull:

I have given it a coat of crystal clear spray in preparation for decals.

I am thinking about putting a commander in the Turret, any ideas on the best British tank crew figures to go for in 1/72 scale?

Hi Chip

Take a look at this discussion thread for some ideas:

I have some Millicast figures in 1/76 and they are superb.

Many thanks for the link Andrew, quite a range of possibilities there. As I only need one for now, I am going to trawl through my stash and see if anything can be modified. I can always replace him later if I decide to go with buying a decent set. The figures from Reiver at Under the Bed Enterprises seem to be the best bet.

Meanwhile, I have been able to get my little bug together:

The two-tone effect is where I have sprayed gloss on parts for the decalling.

I hope to get some matt varnish on today, followed with a bit of weathering.
