Good work going on OT, sustained by proper grub. Fishfinger sarnies are food of the Gods as far as I'm concerned  I agree, a Tardis is a handy piece of kit for a Blitz!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

On the one hand, the neighbor is a good person -- the donuts weren't expired. :)
On the other hand, he/she only gave you one of the two packs.

Seems to be going well otherwise !

Sorry for the lack of updates. My Photobucket account is not working and now wifey is home!

Still filling & sanding. Fritz is entombed in the pit minus an arm - it was the only way he would fit. Waiting for the canopy glue to dry before giving it a coat of primer.

Success - I am back.

Whilst I was away the donuts were eaten and primer applied.

Good enough for a blitz.

Now just waiting for the blue underside paint to dry - using a rattle can.

So what is a fatty supposed to do whilst watching paint dry? Have a Parmo of course!

Image

A Teesside delicacy. These babies usually contain 2600 calories & 150g of fat!
I went with the small or ladies parmo

Nice one OT, it's coming together well. That parmo should get you through the night. Bloody hell, 2600 calories and 150g of fat?!? that's a proper snack that is  I've heard of this delicacy but they don't extend this far south in the north, if that makes sense. We do have a nice selection of mucky kebabs though!

The Vamp looks good, but the food? Ehm.. news for me. But I'm sure it's tasty. :-D
Good luck with the rest, I'm off to bed.

Great work on the Flitzer OT, I built one last year and it went together well. I have been wondering, is your clock bigger on the inside than it is on the outside?

I've just had to Google Parmo to find out what it is. If I'm ever up in that neck of the woods I might have to try one..

Brews wrote:The food looks *interesting*. Its appearance is vaguely similar to poutine, isn't it. Just needs some gravy.
Sacrilege - it has to be lashings of Garlic source.

I would not recommend Parmo's as part of your regular diet - I could see them becoming a Blitzbau staple though, twice a year is probably enough.

Not much going on at midnight:

Image

Just waiting for paint to dry.

The house is so quiet and all bar me are asleep so I can crack on.

This is the plan:
  • Mask the red markings.
Paint and mask off the underside.
Apply a couple of coats Xtracrylix RLM02 Grau with brush as the base for the camoflage.
Mask the Grau and apply dark green from rattle can.
Get some sleep whilst that dries.
I still have until 10:20am so should get there and still get to work tomorrow.

A take away Parma ! what a great idea. My local ( the Tura Beach Tavern ) does these with free beer. can't go wrong. Take away is a great idea tho.

Good work on the Flitzer - what's the stand made from ?
