Greg here.
The Russians did have a few captured 110's. I have a side view (seen in the first pic) and some info on the web (If I can find it again). Cheers for looking folks. I'll be packing up for the night soon.
My wifey is FAR too cheeky. And alcohol wasn't even involved (This time) :ha:

All the best.

I'd rather not see Greg in that, although sure, let's see that Teddy get modelled.

No fear of anyone seeing me in anything like that red and black number.
And I'm sure it was only Ian and Mrs Ian that modelled 'Teddies' LoL.

I had forgotten how much I hate masking awkward canopies and the 110's canopy is a pain in the proverbial. Just about half way there and then the Texan's to do. And that will be worse because the AT6's canopy frames have fishplates at each joint.

All the best.

Oooh I second that. Just tried to use masking tape on a T6 but gave up and just coated the thing with liquid mask. Cutting through the mask and around everywhere wasn't as easy as I thought. Hope you get a better result than me.

Are you still up or gone to rest?

I had to get up now, raining like mad. Don't want water inside the house. Thought I'd catch the night birds here, but rather quiet...

I'm still awake Sissel but I am going to get a bath then bed now. I managed the 110's canopy but I haven't done the T6's yet and it's going to be silver and hand painting it will be a nightmare. I have just taken a picture of where I am at now but I am too tired to post it, I was up at 06:00 yesterday morning for work after only four and a half hours sleep. Nite nite all.

All the best.

Hi Folks.
Cheers for the good words. Bruce, that cocktail stick trick is what I do with the xtracrylic paint. It works well with them too. I'll take a few more pictures soon as progress commences. First job of the day?. It's cup of tea time :-D
The Texan will have red stars too btw, but will not be Russian.

All the best.

Careful want you wish for, Bruce...once one SWMBO gets a login they'll all want one and it'll have to be pink or pastel...at least, the 'shared' log-in allows HIm to clean-up if necessary...

Back to the earlier point. This is the only teddy I own,
Image
It was bought for me for my first Christmas when I was three months old.
t'other one (which is in fact a dress  ) belongs to Sarah.

Well. I was just about to upload the pics and get them on here but my camera batteries just died. Off to put them on charge for the piccies.
Brief build report.
AT6. Good quick build and oob decals. only fault as far as the kit is concerned was the lower rear fuselage piece stands a bit proud but given time I would have sorted it out fairly easily.
ME110. Great build with no real issues apart from a basic cockpit but little can be seen when the canopy is on and painted. I had no decals for this one but I didn't need them anyway as I bought it with the intention of building a Russian air force machine. It should have had red stars with a silver outline but I couldn't find the ones I thought I had but that doesn't bother me too much.
Both are now completed and pics are to follow when the camera batteries are charged.

All the best.
