Thanks all.

The windscreen is different than the one in their regular Jeep kit but I also found it odd there was nothing for this kit.

The windshield finally did dry.

So the Testors stuff really works. But took almost as long as the rest of the entire build.

Missed this due to having been camping at the coast. It looks like someones started with a DUKW and taken a section out of the middle then welded the 2 ends back together again! Looks good!
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

Actually, you would probably also have to take a section out of the middle of the DUKW. This one sits nicely in the bed of my HEMTT.

One of my original thoughts for building this when I got it was to build Half-Safe. A vehicle which took Australian Ben Carlin took around the world back in the '50s. But the modifications (was rebuilt partway through the journey) and the markings kind of put a delay on that. Maybe someday.
