Splash's Skoda D-1 ***finished****

Post by splash »

I have had a KP Skoda D1 in my stash for years and think it will be a good kit, being simple with a small number of parts and a very simple colour scheme either all green or all silver.

I know very little about the Skoda D-1. only that it originated as the Dewoitine D 21 and was built under license.

I plan to start my build on the 20th at about 19:00 UK local time or slightly earlier if I get away on time from work.

Due to work commitment, I will have to attempt the build over two evenings.

I like the looks of that one. Kinda like an upscale Fokker D8.

Looking forward to this one.

Slow progress on the tiny cockpit, the instructions say the interior should be grey but I have gone for the good old red brown.

I now have a coffee mug monster that has just eaten something off my bench but I don't know what untill I finish my coffee!!!!

My wife has gone to Scotland for the week so no problems with the wind

The plastic on this kit is quite soft and will take time to set so I'm going to leave it for a short while, on reflection I should have use super glue.
