Are you sure you need the hassle of an airbrush, especially when Blitzing a single colour? I'm thinking of the necessity to clean the tool amidst building.

Great work on the struts and u/c, by the way.

Bruce

I find the speed of painting and the faster drying time of the paint gives me the edge over the good old hairy stick.

I have just given it a coat of OD followed by a quick dry with the wife's hairdrier followed by a coat of klear all within twenty minutes I don't think I could manage that with a hairy stick.

It's time for bed now, with a full day at work tomorrow I will be back at 18:00 on the 21st to finish the decals and the rigging.

See you all tomorrow.

As your 24 hours expires just before 1800 tomorrow, I assume you're doing this in two blocks of 12 hours?

You are right Bruce and that would make me a wimp so with out the aid of a safety net I'm going to press on for a couple of hours to see if I can finish it in one go.

The decals are putting up a struggle they a very, very thin and break up when you try to move them.

This is now become a challenge

The decals put up a big struggle and kept breaking up, I have put them all on but I'm not happy with the end result.

I'm not spending any more time on it I don't think adding the rigging will be worth the time as this is not a kit to keep.

I'm declaring this finished and will take some photos in daylight tomorrow.

In day light it's not as bad as I first thought the decals have settled down but there is a bit of silvering that will be easy to sort out.
