MPM 1/72 Northrop X-4 Bantam ** FINISHED Aug 22 13:40 **

Post by JamesPerrin »

I've never managed to find the time before to do a Blitzbau before, but I'm off work and at home this week. I've also been caught up in other things which have meant I've not done any modelling for nearly four weeks. That's the longest time not modelling in the last 5 years!

It will be a single 24 period, starting tomorrow at 14:00pm (GMT+1). The MPM kit is one of their older short run releases but has few parts and so if there are any fit issues I should be able to quickly deal with them. I'll be doing an all white finish which can be tricky but I plan to give it a grey undercoat first to cover up an filler which usually shows through white primer and gloss.

Looks a nice kit. I am tempted to get one (but will wait until I have read your build thread first)

All the best.

Aaaah...but does its cannon fire shells or pullets and does the pilot have a capon?

And will it be gloss, or will you give it eggstra attention, with an eggshell finish?

Only via the German ancestors. ie both derived from captured German research.

That's why I have a dumb phone so as to maintain my feeling of superiority.

Half an hour to go. Better go and get the paints out I'll need.

10 minutes to go on my watch.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.
