Great progress OT. Nice one. Looking forward to seeing the finished model.

All the best.

Sorry Flak I forgot to mention food today so to recap. I had toast (brown bread  ) with honey from our bees. YUM  .

Lunch was a chip butty from the local chippy - sorry no pics. I did pick up an 8 pack of cherry Bakewell tarts to keep me going. :-D

Back to the model. Otto is being painted and yes he will fit in the seat although bottom surgery may be required, ouch!

That is Blutak he is sitting on - not his piles.

Main body is now together:

Pit doesn't look too bad - I will not waste any more time on it as Merlin pointed out you won't see much once it is closed up..
Image

The best fit so far has been the U\C doors - that makes a refreshing change.
Image

And here we are now.
Image

Fit at the seams is not great - plenty of filler will be needed so that is the next job before I head down stairs to prime the front door. Would you like to see a picture?

The canopy is very cloudy and has not frame markings at all so I will have to see what I can do with it. :???:

I should have mentioned that this will be split into a two 12 hour 'ladies' Blitzbau - Sorry about that just too much going on (I have a drinkies session booked in for tonight)

It'd be even more fun for us if you completed immediately after your session!

I suppose I could take it with me. :-D Alcohol, craft knives & glue - what could possibly go wrong. Actually most of the Blitzbau House crew will be there tonight plus our friend Neil. He has built a 1:1 scale V1 flying bomb with working jet engine. He didn't say how he got it out of the living room. :???:

Back to the kit - Did the P-1111 have a name?

This thing is eating filler:

I am eating a fishfinger sandwich.

Sure is a good looking plane.
