Splash's P-51B Mustang ***Finished***

Post by splash »

It's a wet Bank Hoilday Monday here in the UK so what's a modeler supposed to do?

Only one thing for it, start another blitz.

This time with the PM 1/48 SIAT Flamingo, at £2.99 you can't expect much, low part count and minimal cockpit detail, which should make it a good blitz build.

I'm going to start about 15:00 uk local.

Always find the time to watch a PM kit being built, watching with interest.
Wet Bank holiday? is there any other kind?

Eeeeeeeeeeeer slight quality control issue PM I'm missing half a wing

There will be a slight start delay untill I find another Flamingon from my stash.

If it's the bottom half the wing missing, and you're careful with camera angles, well ....

Brews, If we are going to set a Blitz record now we may as well do it with a sledgehammer as opposed to a toffee hammer.

Could not find the other Flimingo so I have started the Mustang, as usual its a nice litle kit with fine detail and shock a cockpit with dials.

Progress has been quick I'm at the waiting for paint to dry stage before I start masking the white bands.

Looks like this kit has some decent detail to it.
