Hi Folks. Final pics are about to be taken. Did I finish all six?. Sorry. Had to can two of the builds. The UN Saladin still has a little work but I won't get it and the rest of the decals on in time. The Mystere IV still has some paint to do and the undercarriage to fit but the canopy has fogged and will have to come off so that kills that one from the game. Still, four completions is pretty good and I really did not expect to finish them all. This was an exercise in time management. Time unfortunately threw me a curve ball this evening. Ho well. It's all a learning curve after all. Pics to follow very soon.

All the best.

More pics going into the gallery.
Given time and a not too busy day this would have been do-able. I have tried to stick to my (admittedly not spectacular) average, build quality. I think I have succeeded with that. The Saladin are out of my comfort zone and I should have stuck with my first thought and sprayed the white one. Three coats and it still doesn't look great but another would see it done. Still, I'm happy with this blitz and it has got another four kits from the stash built.

All the best.

Four in 24 hours is very good by anybody's standards. Take the rest of the week off. You deserve it.

I'd love to squeeze in one more Blitz but I think Sarah would object. I have some models that would be perfect too. HMMM. better not.

All the best.

Oooh! I can see your pics!
Four complete and 2 nearlys - jolly good show, Greg!
And don't knock your build quality - this is a relaxing, fun hobby. If you are relaxed and having fun then they are perfect!

Nice one Greg. As you've said, if you'd had the time to yourself proper, you would've managed your target of 6. Blitzing so many, when you've got other activities to perform, isn't very realistic.
That said, four remains impressive.

Bruce

The way I figure it it's better to aim high and stretch yourself, even if it means the odd failure than to just aim low and attain the same standard. Just my 2pw.
Cheers for the Kudos and for following the build folks. It's been a blast. The other two will get finished soon enough and I may even dig out that damned Escort MK1 to finish.

All the best.

Congratulations on getting four finished. The other two weren't far off either. Great job.

Well done Greg, 4 out of 6 is a good score. I would be happy with it.
