I hope the decals/paint-call-outs match the orange on the actual aircraft rather than the colour on the box.

That is a cracker of a scheme, like the flag incorporated into the scheme, never noticed that before.

Simply an awesome scheme. Will be interesting to see how you handle all those decals. :ha:
I might learn something. ;-)

Good choice of subject Dirk.

Maybe I'll get to see this model in person sometime?

I haven't had a chance to do anything with this yet other then pop the top and poke around. This weekend is a holiday weekend here in the states and a big one for my town. Parade, carnival and fireworks.

Hopefully this week things get started

Ooooh I'm flying over. Love festivitas!

Looking forward to when you start. I wonder how many (ehem.. few) of us will struggle with positioning of the decals. :-D

A lot of us have some fairly large decals for this build. will be interesting to see how they all turn out. I will admit I'm nervous about mine.

Hi Dirk

The good news is it's a nice kit, only the normal HobbyBoss problem of very little cockpit detail.

I have another version 3/4 finished on the bench, you will enjoy it.

Thinks Splash. I just applied some Aircraft gray to the cockpit and bits. Should be dry enough for me to keep moving later on tonight.

Not a lot of different colors going to be needed for this one. Aircraft gray, Insignia white, and flat black.
